The
paddy pre-cleaning and parboiling department makes sure that all the undesirable
dust, stones, weed and grass is removed and the paddy is parboiled and dried to
accurate temperature and moisture before it enters the milling section. The milling
department oversees the processes of husking, polishing, color sorting and grading very
carefully. The laboratory department precisely measures the various parameters of the
under-process rice like length, whiteness, moisture etc at regular intervals and keeps
advising the milling department accordingly so that the final product is accurately
matched to the market standards. The lab test reports also guarantee that only the best
quality paddy is bought by the purchasing manager. Finally, the production department
keeps a tab on the quantity produced as well as dispatched from the firm. It also serves
as an interface between various departments and the management of the firm .
